I have convinced myself that the swallows visiting our garden are camera-shy.
Pretty much every time I visit my favourite spot by the compost heap, the swallows appear and loop around within feet of me, clearly untroubled by my presence. But, if I go there with camera primed and ready to go, I see barely hide or feather of the little buggers. It's quite frustrating.
